Referendum
The Neighbourhood Plan referendum is being conducted by UDC and will take place on Thursday 20th October 2022. All Ashdon residents who are on the electoral register are entitled to vote. Further details can be found in this postcard which will be delivered to every household.
Regulation 16 (submission) consultation
This is being conducted by UDC and runs from 8am Thursday 14th April to 5pm on Monday 30th May 2022.

Regulation 14 (pre-submission) consultation
The Neighbourhood Plan and Design Code Pre submission (Regulation 14) consultation ran from 17th September to 31st October 2021.
Second consultation event - May 2020
Our second consultation event was planned for Friday 22nd May and Saturday 23rd May in the village hall.
This event was cancelled due to the coronavirus situation and was replaced with a detailed questionnaire delivered to all residents.
First consultation event - October 2019
Thank you to everyone who came along to our first consultation event on 18th and 19th October.
We had a really good turn out and we were able to get a great deal of feedback which will really help us to start work on a neighbourhood plan for Ashdon.

Why do we need to consult?
Consultation is a necessary part of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan. We will need to submit a Consultation Statement with our Submission (final) Plan. This explains the consultation process informing the plan and what has been amended as a result of comments made.
